Job Description
MCS Group is proud to be working once again with one of their valued clients in Dublin who are a SaaS leader in the EdTech sector. They have recently succeeded in growing their Solution Consulting team and are looking to expand further in early 2025.
The successful candidate will be a vital link between clients and the technical teams within the organisation who will boost sales by leading workshops, demos, and developing solution designs.
Hybrid (2 days in office) - Dublin
The Role
- Develop scalable solution designs based on client requirements.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and define integration strategies.
- Conduct workshops and demos, showcasing software capabilities.
- Provide technical expertise during sales pitches and pre-sales engagements, ensuring clients understand the value and functionality of the platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with product development and client needs.
- Stay current with industry trends and propose improvements to our technology.
The Person
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
- Minimum 5 years experience in pre-sales roles with a strong record of delivering business solutions.
- Experience in SaaS or EdTech platforms would be an advantage.
- While this is a commercially focused, client-facing role - the Solutions Consultant will need an awareness and understanding of technology and software - for example cloud computing (AWS), APIs and system integration
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions to diverse audiences.
- Happy to be in office in Dublin two days per week.
