NPD Lead

MCS Group is proud to be working exclusively with our award-winning food manufacturing client based in County Armagh for an NPD Lead to join their team.

As the NPD lead you will:

• Interpret development briefs in line with customer expectations and company business plans
• Demonstrate culinary knowledge and skills to create new recipes to satisfy customer briefs
• Prepare/ cook new products for customers to sample including hospitality for visits
• Assist and present in customer presentations and product submissions demonstrating interpersonal skills
• Up to date knowledge of food styles, restaurant & food industry market trends and competitor activity, translating food trends into relevant and commercially viable product development
• Communicate new ideas to wider NPD team where relevant
• Take responsibility for short term & long-term projects where required

You will have:

• Excellent standard of verbal/written English
  Minimum 2 years experience working with food
  Relevant third level qualification with evidence of recipe creation
  Knowledge of IT
