Finance Admin - Accounts Payable

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a large Public Sector Organisation in their search for a Finance Admin.

The Role:

• Invoice Processing and Management: Efficiently handle the receipt, verification, and processing of invoices related to agricultural and bio sciences transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organisational policies.

• Vendor Communication and Relations: Maintain effective communication with vendors, addressing any inquiries or discrepancies in invoices, and ensuring timely payments to sustain strong business relationships.

• Financial Record Keeping: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software, maintain organised records of all accounts payable transactions, and prepare regular reports for management review.

• Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls, and assist in the preparation of documentation for audits and financial reviews.

• Expense Reconciliation and Reporting: Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers, analyse discrepancies, and generate detailed reports on expenses and payment statuses for internal stakeholders.

The Person:

• Previous experience in a finance position consisting of finance processing.

• Confidence in handling customer telephone queries.

• Responding to customer email queries.

• Driving License Preferable.
