Job Description
Assistant Accountant
An award winning group of hotels are seeking to an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance as the organisation is continuing to expand its operations.
Assistant Accountant Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing Management Accounts.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare key journals.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial reporting.
- Compile weekly treasury and revenue reports and assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Reconcile VAT returns with the ledger and investigate any discrepancies.
Assistant Accountant Requirements
- 2+ years experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and standards.
- Experience working with a month-end reporting schedule.
- Focused on meeting deadlines.
Assistant Accountant Benefits
