Solution Architect (Microsoft Business Central)

MCS Group is thrilled to be partnering once again alongside an international retail enterprise as they seek to add a Solutions Architect to their growing team on a permanent basis. The successful Solution Architect will provide technical expertise and assessment as they design a new platform to meet the needs of their business as they expand.

(Hybrid - Dublin/Belfat/Cork)

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect comprehensive IT solutions covering core systems, network and security, end-user computing, and eCommerce. These solutions must meet the specific needs of the business now while creating a scalable platform for the future.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand business strategies and objectives, ensuring alignment of IT solutions with overall business goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of solution architectures, design decisions, and implementation plans.
• Establish and uphold best practices for solution development and implementation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and business analysts, to ensure clear communication and coordination.
• Effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership across various projects.

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or similar
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar roles
• Strong understanding of ERP end to end processes. This role will be heavily focused on Microsoft Business Central solutions so experience in that area is highly coveted.
• Microsoft Certifications an advantage especially in ERP/CRM systems.
• Experience in other ERP systems will be taken into consideration.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of setting priorities on your own, adhering to deadlines, and handling changing priorities for client deliverable's.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Salary on offer: Up to €100,000 - with a package which includes 10% bonus + pension. Negotiable if there is a candidate who looks to be a superb fit with the right experience.
