QA engineer

MCS Group is proud to be partnering with a leading financial software team for a QA engineer for their Belfast office on a hybrid working basis.

Our client offers cutting edge solutions across financial trading markets working with key customers including global hedge fund companies and financial organisations. Due to continued growth and success, they have an opportunity for a QA engineer to join their Belfast hub.

You will be joining a global company headquartered in the USA who have a diverse and talented team of engineers and strong reputation for staff retention due to culture and career opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

• Reporting to the senior QA and be involved in QA testing activities across market data projects across high performing trading applications
• You will be involved in both automation and manual testing including , exploratory, regression and functional working with technologies including linux and python.
• Design, write, execute and maintain a suite of test cases
• Work as part of a high-performing team and collaborate with stakeholders across the business
• Play a key role in bug identification, management and tracking

Who you are:

• Ideally have 2+ years experience as a QA engineer
• Experience with Python
• Ideally have experience in market data / financial trading markets
• Ideally have exposure to automated testing
