Product Migration Specialist

Role Overview:
The Product Migration Specialist will play a key role in migrating legacy systems to new, advanced platforms. This role involves working closely with the product development and client services teams to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruption to end-users. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing migration strategies and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the migration of legacy systems to new platforms.
- Develop and execute detailed migration plans, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to specification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and client services to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of migrated products to ensure functionality and performance.
- Provide training and support to end-users during and after the migration process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration.
- Document all processes and procedures related to the migration activities.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in product migration or a similar role, with a strong track record of successful migrations.
- In-depth understanding of legacy systems and modern platform technologies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the company's headquarters in Northern Ireland.

Desirable:
- Experience in the geospatial technology sector or with similar software solutions.
- Knowledge of database management and data migration tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services.
