Analyst Programmer (.Net)

MCS Group is working exclusively with a leading Irish brand as they seek to add a Senior Analyst Programmer to their team.

Your role will see you working through an exciting road map of IT modernisation projects, spanning infrastructure, development and applications, this will be an opportunity to wear multiple hats and stretch your technical skills with challenging digital transformations and custom software development to meet stakeholder requirements throughout this business who operate on a global scale.

The Senior Developer will utilise the common toolkit of the Microsoft technology stack (C#, ASP.Net, SQL) and you will also have access to some of the latest and greatest tools available on the market.

Location: Sligo

Hybrid - post probation period (6 months).

The role:

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders on system and application modernization projects.
• The Senior Programmer will work with the latest and greatest development and infrastructure tools available to improve internal business processes.
• Take responsibility for custom solution design through to deployment.
• The nearest project will be a NAV migration to modernize the system, commonly building add-ons or additional plug-ins utilising C#, .NET, however this role given its diversity does not need prior experience in those tools, but a mature understanding of business processes with a willingness to upskill and train on the tools required.

• This role would be perfect for someone who has a keen interest in problem solving or a consultative approach to resolving complex business problems.
• Someone who wants to bring value to an organisation through their experience, with a keen interest in knowledge sharing and documentation for the future of the business.
• Weather your coming from a senior development background or an IT management role this will certainly offer challenging projects, with a well-funded tech department there is little hesitation on moving projects forward in their fast-paced team culture surrounded by like-minded professionals.

Salary on offer: Up to €85,000 - with a package which includes 10% bonus, 6% Pension, health insurance.
