Laboratory and Co-Products Manager

MCS Group is proud to work with a leading food manufacturing company in County Armagh, to recruit a Laboratory & Co-Products Manager.

As the laboratory and co-products manager you will plan, monitor and co-ordinate all activities associated with laboratory management. As well as look after the management of quality assurance associated with the co-products.

You will;

• Look after the management and development of the laboratory management system and lead the lab team
• Support the NPD function to aid successful new product development
• Investigate quality related customer complaints
• Participate in customer and third party audits
• QA Lead of continuous improvement/ capex projects
• Conduct and maintain records for departmental Health & Safety inspections

Essential Requirements

• Degree Level or equivalent qualification in Food Science/Technology or related.
• Minimum 3 years experience in food manufacturing
• At least 1 years experience in management
• A clear understanding and knowledge of quality management/ laboratory management systems

Desirable

• Conducts risk assessments or COSHH assessments
• Training in HACCP, Laboratory accreditation or auditing
