IT Systems Engineer

MCS Group is proud to be exclusively partnering with a company that operates at the forefront of their industry in computer gaming, having contributed to some of the biggest AAA games globally such as Halo, Call of Duty, and Microsoft Flight Simulator In this role, you will support their IT systems, assist in maintaining their ISO27001 accreditation, and provide essential support functions across the business as a.n IT Systems Engineer.

The role

• Support the staff across several technology stacks, Win, Mac, Linux
• Work with a 3rd party to maintain their ISO27001 accreditation, and implement hardening strategies
• Maintain their DR and business continuity plans
• Support their current on-prem infrastructure and aid a migration to the cloud
• Facilitate a new office move
• Manage the procurement of new technology solutions to continuing business needs

Needed to succeed

• An awareness of cyber security principles relating to ISO27001
• A proven track record of being an IT troubleshooter
• Cloud migration experience - Azure or AWS

Python or PowerShell scripting knowledge would be hugely advantageous.
