MCS are thrilled to be partnering with a leading manufacturing company based in Dungannon, as they recruit for an HR Manager on a fulltime, permanent basis.

The role:

Working closely with the Head of HR you will provide day to leadership and direction to the site HR teams, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their role in enabling the business to achieve its business plans and objectives, and motivate the team to deliver outstanding results.

Main responsibilities:

• Achieve best in class standards of HR Excellence through the HR Dashboard metrics - Management accountability will be achieved through the review and timely reporting of HR Dashboard measures with appropriate follow up actions undertaken.
• Review all current HR related KPIs to ensure fit for the business now and in the future.
• Best in class communication processes and systems are established and implemented on the site.
• In conjunction with the Head of HR manage and lead talks with works council and employee engagement.
• Devise and Implement Wellbeing that will support colleagues health and wellbeing.
• Lead on ensuring that our Values are communicated and practiced by our employees at all levels
• Audit and review the paperwork and procedures to ensure that these are legally compliant and of the highest standard against SEDEX and other audit standards.
• Oversee and deliver an effective staff recruitment process.
• Review all internal and external recruitment processes to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Adherence to all relevant company policies, legislation and customer protocols to ensure the highest standards are maintained in our ethical use of migrant labour.
• Ensuring consistency of approach with regards to legislative requirements in relation to contracts, working arrangements, policy formation and implementation of terms and conditions.
• Implement and evaluate our HR policies, procedures and processes to contribute to achieving corporate objectives and creating a working environment which inspires, engages, motivates and retains our employees

The successful candidate:

• 3rd-level qualification in a relevant discipline
• 3 + years of generalist HR experience with previous team management.
• Proven track record of delivering generalist HR support within commercially focused environments.
• Self-starter with proven ability to drive change to day-to-day HR environments.
• Ideally a work knowledge of an FMCG specially food manufacturing environment
• Possess excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills
