Finance Assistant

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a tech company based in Belfast to recruit for a Finance & Accounts Administrator on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Directors you will be responsible to ensure best practice in all areas of accounting, finance management & administration. With strong interpersonal skills while establishing strong working relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the financial and administration management of the Business Unit
• Maintain financial and administration records, reconciling all expenditure and payments and balances on day-to-day transactions.
• Processing of accounting transactions within the accounting package to include posting bank payments/receipts, petty cash payments, purchase invoices & tracking revenue items.
• Monthly reconciliation of creditors to supplier statements
• General maintenance of the accounting ledger
• Reconciliation of relevant nominal ledger control accounts
• Manage client recurring billing models
• Serves as an interface within financial and internal audit entities.
• Track and maintain cash flow daily

What You Need to Succeed?

• You will be a self-starter, highly motivated & energetic
• Previous experience in a similar role hitting tight deadlines
• Ability to build strong working relationships
