Job Description
MCS is proud to be working alongside a global leader in their industry, who have a location in Belfast. They are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team and is perfect if you are a accounts technician or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA and looking to take the next step in your career.
Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:
- Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Assistance with year-end audit
- Assistance with internal audit programme
- Preparation of UK and ROI VAT/ Intrastat returns and other HMRC statutory returns
- Identify and implement process improvement
Assistant Accountant Requirements
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified Accounts Technician
- Experience of preparing management accounts
- Strong excel skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Account Technician Benefits
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
- Bonus Variable
- Pension 10%
