AP Clerical Supervisor

The Role will consist of:

• Support Services: Provide efficient support to the Corporate Finance team, including invoice processing and reconciliation tasks.
• Invoice Processing: Handle the processing of weekly invoices and related payment documentation.
• Reconciliation Tasks: Perform credit card, bank, and control account reconciliations.
• Financial Data Management: Analyze and reconcile financial data, and assist with data entry for ledgers and journals.
• System Maintenance: Maintain financial systems by inputting data, completing journals, and gathering supporting documentation.
• General Administration: Develop knowledge of the organization's priorities, format information for the finance team, and handle calls and queries.
• Ad Hoc Support: Provide additional support as needed, including administrative tasks and telephone management

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• 5 GCSEs grades A-C (including English Language and Maths) or equivalent
• A minimum of 6 months experience gained in a finance environment.
• Experience of processing invoice payments.
• Experience of working with Microsoft packages in a business context.
• Previous experience in dealing with issues on a confidential basis.
• Previous experience in working with a team.

Desirable:

• Finance qualification or working towards.
• Experience of IT financial systems, e.g. Sun or Sage Accounts.
• Experience in a customer focused environment.
