Tech Talent Tuesday- Mentorloop

Mentorloop is an online platform that was built exclusively for the mentoring community. Their vision is that  "the right connection can change your life.  At Mentorloop, we’re making these connections accessible”.

The online platform was founded in 2016 by Heidi Holmes and Lucy Lloyd. The inspiration stemmed from their frustration at the lack of high-quality and impactful traditional mentoring programs and Mentorloop was created to tackle this issue and make mentoring mainstream.

Heidi’s career began at KPMG, with over ten years of experience in tax and marketing. In 2011 she took over a leading job board and online community for the over-45 markets, Adage, where her passion for mentoring blossomed. Lucy was immersed in the tech and digital world whilst at university and began her career in a web agency before moving on as a project manager at Evolution 7. The two women combined their knowledge, experience, and expertise, to make Mentorloop what it is today.

The platform utilizes a special algorithm that matches mentees with their ideal mentors and gives organizations the tools to optimize the program as it progresses. It is focused on employee engagement, development, and retention and enables companies to support and develop their current employees and ensure all team members have access to mentorship and development opportunities.

Thanks to Mentorloop over 75,000 people worldwide are able to access quality mentoring and take their careers to the next level. From local organisations to corporate giants, Mentorloop supports Program Coordinators to build and scale their best mentoring program yet and develop, support and retain talent.
