Tax Accountant - Belfast

MCS Group are looking for a Tax Accountant to join the in-house tax team of an award winning Top 100 NI company based in Belfast.

Our client is an awarding winning Top 100 NI Company with multiple sites across Ireland. They provide a range of services to their extensive customer base across NI & Ireland. They are at the forefront of driving a renewable future with significant investment over the next five years. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to added a Tax Accountant to their well established in-house tax team.

As the successful Tax Accountant, you will receive the following:

• £40-45k base salary + extensive benefits;
• Annual bonus (10%);

The Role:

As the successful Tax Accountant you will report directly to the Tax Manager and will be responsible for the following:

• Tax compliance & tax accounting on UK & ROI companies;
• Corporate tax compliance;
• VAT compliance;
• Employee-related compliance;
• Assist HR & Payroll teams on ad hoc queries;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Financial Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or ATT/CTA;
• Open to industry or practice background;
• Open to tax or accountancy background;
• Strong communication skills.
