Job Description
MCS Group is proud to be working with a global leading engineering company in County Derry/Londonderry, to recruit a Store Supervisor based out of their Derry/Londonderry Site.
As the Store supervisor you will be accountable for store teams ensuring the prompt and accurate flow of materials to production, in a safe and efficient manner. You will have a focus on Health and Safety procedures, inventory control and working to apply lean standards including 5S.
You will;
- Lead to stores team by interpretating high level requirements and transferring to daily objectives
- Ensure materials/ kits are supplied to production accurately
- Manage safe working practices
- Manage store team members to deliver day to day sequences using Takt and Hijunka boards
- You will manage all parts of production
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives set via S5 audits and action using Kaizen paper
- Manage and report of weekly KPI's
- Adherence and auditing of FIFO procedure within Materials
Essential Requirements
- People management/ supervisory experience
- Proven experience within a similar manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of inventory control, lean manufacturing, Takt time, and CI
- Experience/ Knowledge of logistics and supply chain
Desirable
- Experience of MRP systems
- Previous experience using stock control systems
