QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) - Remote (Ireland-based) | €50,000 - €60,000 + Benefits

My client is a global leader in cloud-based enterprise software solutions, specialising in business process automation for organisations worldwide. Their technology helps businesses streamline complex sales processes, ensuring accurate and efficient quote generation across multiple CRM and ERP platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce. With offices in Ireland, the US, and the Netherlands, they are expanding their QA function and seeking a QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing) to join their growing team.

The Role

As a QA Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring software quality across multiple platforms. You will work closely with developers and product teams, executing manual testing, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless product releases.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manual testing - hands-on verification of functionality and defect identification.
  • Automation testing - developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
  • Regression testing - validating new features and system stability.
  • Building automation frameworks - improving test coverage and efficiency.
  • Collaboration - working closely with developers to define acceptance criteria and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Test documentation - maintaining detailed test plans, reports, and cases.

Tech Environment & Tools

  • Web-based UI applications
  • REST and gRPC APIs
  • Agile development methodology
  • Test integration within development pipelines

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in manual testing for web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing and writing test scripts.
  • Strong API testing skills (REST & gRPC) using Swagger UI, Postman.
  • Basic HTML knowledge for UI testing purposes.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Strong communication skills to contribute effectively within a team.

  • Ability to define acceptance criteria and contribute to refinements.
  • Detail-oriented and motivated personality.
