Software Engineer

MCS is delighted to be working with a global leader in the manufacturing sector as they build out their R and D centre of excellence here in N.I. They are now looking for a Software Engineer to join the team and help on new and exciting projects in the automotive/aerospace industry.

The Company

My client is a true global leader in manufacturing and have offices all over the globe including; China, Mexico, USA, Bulgaria and France. With a choice of multiple locations, they decided to build out their N.I office as their technical centre of excellence and have been growing out a high class development team for a number of years. This company focuses on collaboration, excellence and passion which you can clearly sense with every conversation. With a turnover of millions of pounds annually they are setting their sights high to remain at the top of ladder in this industry.

The Role

In this role, you will be working in the manufacturing team developing and enhancing systems using the latest technologies. This includes developing, modifying and creating custom code. You will get a chance to work on emerging technologies as they aim to modernise all of their systems with a supportive team.

What you need

• Experience of developing software in C, C# or C++
• Experience of developing software in a manufacturing company is ideal
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Happy to do hybrid working
