MCS Group is Looking for a Software Developer (12-18 Month Contract) - Remote First

The Role

MCS Group is hiring a Software Developer for a 12-18 month fixed term contract to play a key role in regulatory reporting, system maintenance, and web development. This position involves working with ASP.NET (VB), SQL Server, Crystal Reports, and MS Dynamics to ensure efficient data management and process automation. Key responsibilities include:

• Generating and submitting regulatory reports to external bodies with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintaining and enhancing web-based systems for data collection and reporting.

• Providing technical support for internal applications and troubleshooting issues.

• Collaborating with teams to deliver IT projects and integrate new system features.

The Person

• Software development experience, with strong knowledge of ASP.NET (VB) and SQL Server

• Familiarity with MS Dynamics for basic system administration and modifications.

• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to handling regulatory data and reports.

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute to IT decision-making.

• Strong communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Must be based in Belfast
