Job Description
MCS Group is working with one of the largest manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland who supply their products to some of the largest chains in the world. They are currently on the lookout for a Second Line Support Engineer to join their IT Team to provide ongoing support for their local site and across their sites worldwide via service desk.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support to the on site and worldwide users of the business.
- Supporting the onsite aspects of the Networking infrastructure.
- Support Mobile devices across the business (Android & IOS)
- Assist in the Disaster Recovery planning and implementation across the business and perform necessary data backup and recovery tasks.
- Liaise with 3rd party application and systems vendors when required.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a 2nd Line or higher support role.
- Hands on experience support Microsoft Office 365 environment and tools.
- Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in an ITIL environment.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
