Senior QA Engineer (Usability & Manual Testing) - Remote (Ireland-based) | €60,000 - €70,000 + Benefits

My client, a global leader in cloud-based enterprise software solutions, is looking for a Senior QA Engineer with experience in Usability & Manual testing to join their growing team. With offices across Ireland, the US, and the Netherlands, they develop cutting-edge technology that optimises complex business processes for organisations worldwide.
The Role
As a QA Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring their software is seamless, functional, and user-friendly. Working closely with developers and product teams, you'll be involved in the full development lifecycle, from defining acceptance criteria to conducting usability and manual testing.
What You'll Be Doing
- Usability testing - assessing software for user-friendliness and intuitive design.
- Manual testing - hands-on verification of functionality, ensuring smooth and error-free experiences.
- Regression testing - assisting in validating new features while ensuring no disruptions to existing functionality.
- Collaboration - working closely with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria.
- Test documentation - maintaining test cases, reports, and plans to support quality assurance processes.
Tech Environment & Tools
- Web-based UI applications
- REST and gRPC APIs
- Agile development methodology
- Test integration within development pipelines
What We're Looking For
- Experience in manual testing for web applications
- Strong understanding of usability principles & UX testing
- Basic HTML knowledge for UI testing
- Familiarity with REST APIs and testing tools such as Swagger UI, Postman
- Experience working in an Agile team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to contribute to discussions
