Job Description
MCS Group is currently working with an industry leading manufacturing company who are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team and support the business on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the Group IT Infrastructure, security systems, and associated applications.
- Oversee network and communication systems.
- Design and implement infrastructure for factory and site operations.
- Administer Windows Servers both on-premises and in Azure.
- Ensure backups for large-scale, multi-site IT infrastructures and cloud environments.
- Maintain operations across on-premises, hybrid, cloud, and multi-cloud infrastructures.
- Manage complex networks of Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Provide third-level support to high-level customers and personnel within the business.
- Deliver proactive support, maintenance, and monitoring for GD WAN, SDWAN, and IT infrastructure.
Lead project-based implementations and system upgrades, including: - Server and application migration to the cloud (Azure experience is a plus).
- Cybersecurity system and application implementation.
- LAN/WAN/SDWAN/SASE networking (Cisco).
- Windows Servers and Hyper-V Clusters.
- Microsoft Exchange Online and MS365.
Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a senior infrastructure role.
- Expertise in supporting network and communication systems, with experience in Cisco infrastructure (CCNA/CCNP certification preferred).
- Proficiency in cybersecurity systems, including EDR, SIEM, patching, email security, web proxies, and firewalls.
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS platforms (Microsoft certifications in Cloud Engineering and Azure are an advantage).
- Experience with Microsoft Server OS (Windows 2012, 2016, 2019); Microsoft certification is a plus.
- Ability to use security and network monitoring tools proactively.
This position offers a hybrid working model, with occasional on-site visits, and opportunities to collaborate with teams across various levels and departments within the company.
- Salary up to £55,000 DOE
- 4 Days on site 1 Day Wfh
- Newry based office.
