Job Description
MCS Group are delighted to be working with a Top 10 NI Employer in their search for a Scientific Officer in their Wastewater Chemistry Department. This vacancy is on a temporary basis.
The Role:
Responsible for the collection and analysis of water, wastewater, trade effluent, sludge and soils. The work covers a wide range of determinants and includes trace metals, organics, general pollution indicators nutrients and microbiology.
The Person:
- A third level qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Science/Chemistry/Environmental Science.
- At least 1 years' practical analytical chemistry experience, within a laboratory operating a Quality Management system.
- Experience of working within and understanding of ISO 17025 standards.
- Knowledge of the Chemical Analysis in the Water Industry.
