Real Estate Manager
MCS are delighted to be working alongside our client who is a leading Global Law Firm here in Belfast. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Manager to join a forward-thinking team, providing strategic leadership and managing all aspects of real estate legal service delivery across the UK & EMEA.
The Role:
As a Real Estate Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality legal services, overseeing project management, supervision, quality control, pricing, and billing processes. This role requires a client-focused, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to manage complex real estate matters and lead teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise teams of Senior Solicitors, Solicitors, Trainees, and Legal Analysts on real estate transactions.
- Take on your own caseload, efficiently handling real estate matters while ensuring quality control across the team's work.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, ensuring smooth communication and the successful delivery of projects.
- Provide guidance on complex issues, escalating matters to Senior Managers or Heads of Real Estate when needed.
- Play a key role in fostering client relationships, supporting business development efforts, and contributing to client presentations and pitches.
- Implement new legal technology tools within the team to enhance service delivery.
- Lead and mentor team members, ensuring their professional development and progression.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes, enhancing efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales or Northern Ireland, or a willingness to requalify if needed.
- A minimum of 5 years PQE in real estate, with significant experience in asset management, real estate investment, and development transactions.
- Proven experience in leading and supervising teams within a real estate practice.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage complex transactions.
- Experience with mid-to-high-value real estate sales, purchases, and investments, ideally unsupervised.
- Experience in the energy sector is a plus but not essential.
