Project Manager

MCS Group is looking for a Project Manager for a fixed-term contract in Newry. You will join a genuine global innovator for 9 - 12 months maternity cover. As Project Manager, you will work as part of the R&D team and work across New Product Development and Improvement. This is a superb opportunity to apply your Project Management skills to the world of iOT and contribute to a leading suite of smart-products.

The Role

You will play a key role in the delivery of new products, and the continuous improvement of existing products and processes.

This Project Manager will work to the Product Road-map, and work to improve new product development practices for the business.

You manage budgets, delivery, and timescales, and create documentation and reports.

The Person

This role requires significant experience in a project management position in either a lean manufacturing or technology environment.

You will have a strong understanding of Project Management principles.

Ideally, you will have previously undertake planning and implementation of NPI activity.

You will have strong analytical/critical reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills.

Location: Newry, Northern Ireland - this is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office.
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 depending on experience.
Duration: 9 - 12 months maternity cover (fixed term contract)
