Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will bridge the gap between data management and civil engineering projects, ensuring that both are managed seamlessly from initiation to completion. Reporting to the Program Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing multidisciplinary teams, working with key stakeholders, and managing budgets, timelines, and project deliverables. You will also leverage your experience in IT, data management, and civil engineering to drive innovative solutions within the organization's infrastructure, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects in data management and civil engineering, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of IT, data, and engineering project goals with organizational objectives.
• Oversee data governance practices and data integration into civil engineering projects to optimize data quality and accessibility.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risk, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Liaise with public transport bodies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership in data-driven decision-making, including the development and use of data analytics tools.
• Prepare regular progress reports and conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Extensive project management experience in IT data management and civil engineering, preferably within the public sector or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience working with public transport or similar large-scale organizations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data analytics, and integration within engineering projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and data management software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges in a multidisciplinary setting.
