Job Description
MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Process Engineer for our client who is a leading medical device manufacturing company.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, and work across various functions. Working in close partnership with Quality & Research and Development teams to ensure all production requirements are in place for all new product and continuously reviewing and improving our manufacturing systems.

As the Process Engineer you will:
- Investigate potential manufacturing solutions and liaise with the Process Engineering Manager
- Liaise with Quality to ensure technical specifications and process validation are in place in a timely manner
- Continuously review existing production performance data, extract insights from qualitative data, KPIs, Gemba walks to generate improvement opportunities
- Review existing manufacturing systems and select appropriate modern manufacturing techniques and implement to drive efficiency and quality improvement
- Maintaining process maps & PFMEAs, regularly assess process controls throughout the manufacturing environment
You will have:
- A degree / HND or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Applicants with a HNC will be considered if they have exceptional experience.
- Previous manufacturing experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience with improvement projects in Lean manufacturing tools, to demonstrate use of some of the following tools
- Hold a valid driving licence and able to travel.
