Due to continued growth and success, they have an opportunity for a Principal Data Engineer to join the team, optimise the data architecture and drive innovation.

The Role

• Take ownership of and define the data roadmap.
• Design and implement improvements in the data system.
• Work with internal stakeholders to support the data requirements of the business.
• Develop data storage and data lakehouse infrastructure, making effective use of data.
• Adhere to industry standards in data governance processes

About you:

• Experienced Senior Data Engineer with project leadership skills.
• Solid experience with ETL tools and data warehousing.
• Ability to work collaboratively and be a natural problem solver.
• Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, AWS, Databricks and Fivetran
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI / Tableau
