Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with a strong focus on PHP development to join a fast-growing team in Belfast. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, including both greenfield and brownfield development, contributing to the creation of innovative technology solutions that enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code across various new and existing codebases.
- Innovate and apply cutting-edge technology solutions.
- Work on diverse projects, including greenfield development and API integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure best practices in software development.
- Engage in other duties as assigned by the site lead.

Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in software development, with a strong focus on back-end technologies such as CakePHP, Laravel, or similar frameworks.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in API development and integration.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- A portfolio of previous work, with the ability to explain project layouts and technical decisions.

Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to Docker and containerisation.
- Experience with load/stress testing of large-scale systems.
- Familiarity with networking hardware (e.g., gateways, routers, access points).
- Contributions to open-source software.
- Experience with test frameworks.
