Payroll Team Lead

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a Top 100 Company based in Craigavon to recruit for a Payroll Team Lead on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Payroll Team Lead, you will manage a team of administrators and support the wider payroll team to ensure all employees within the business are paid correctly.

This is a great role if you have previous management experience & looking a new challenge or if you have a strong payroll background and looking the step up to management!

Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Team Lead Include:

• Responsibility for ensuring completion of Weekly/Monthly payrolls in their entirety.
• To assist with payroll year end processes - P60/P11D.
• Ensuring HMRC payments are processed ontime
• Working closely with finance ensuring costing and same day payments balance.
• Processing and reconciling of pensions from start to finish.
• Ensuring all document for payrolls are completed in full each week - Payroll checklists.
• Monitoring performance of the team to ensure standards are maintained throughout the department.
• Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication within the payroll team.
• To assist in development plans for the team and to achieve agreed set targets.

• Knowledge & previous experience of a payroll environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Experience using Microsoft Office packages
