Job Description
MCS Group is proud to work with a leading food manufacturing company in Craigavon, to recruit an experienced Operations Team Leader.
As the production team leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delegation of duties to your team, to ensure the delivery of shift, daily, and weekly production goals.
You will be responsible for:
- Act as the first point of contact for your team, ensure there is regular and timely communication, and that the majority of issues are dealt with.
- Provide a first point of contact for other functions outside of normal office hours.
- Work closely with the departmental manager
- Coach and motivate the team to achieve agreed performance standards in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environment.
- Allocate work, manage staffing levels, and ensure attendance, grievance, and disciplinary matters are dealt with
- Monitor all proves controls continuously
Essential Requirements
- 1/3 years relevant experience of shift supervising and team leadership in a production or manufacturing environment
- Previous experience monitoring KPIs and introducing initiatives
- Carried out risk assessments and hazard elimination
- Strong Leadership and people management skills
- Be able to work shift
