Operations Engineers

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a Large Public Sector Organisation who operate within ROI in their search for Operational Engineers to fill Current and Upcoming Vacancies. These opportunities are available within Co Dublin. Co Galway, Co Clare and more.

The Role:

The Engineer (Operations) will form part of an operational management team. They will oversee management / maintenance, recreational / commercial use, and future development of the organisations infrastructure within a designated Operational area required. The successful applicant will be required to manage operational staff and consultants / contractors working on Organisation property for implementation of new or refurbishment projects. They will also liaise with user groups for facilitation of events, and work in partnership with third parties and local interests to manage and develop the infrastructure for increased recreational use.

The Person:

• Possess a degree (2.2 or above) in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) or an equivalent qualification.
• Hold a current driving licence and have access to transport which will permit travel throughout Ireland and ensure that the person can effectively supervise works spread over a wide area.
• Possess knowledge and understanding of the key issues involved in the field of Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Have experience and ability in the use of IT based engineering equipment/engineering design tools.
