Management Accountant - Ballyclare

MCS Group are looking for a Management Accountant to join a leading Distribution company based in the Ballyclare area.

The Company:

Our client is a leading group of companies based in the Ballyclare area with multiple offices across the UK and Ireland. They have multiple divisions within the group that operate on a global basis. Now is an exciting time to join the company as they look to appoint a Management Accountant to further strengthen the success of their finance function.

The Role:

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and Finance Director, while working closely with an established and supportive team, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Preparation of detailed weekly & monthly management accounts, P&L statements, balance sheets and cash flow forecasts;
• Analysing financial performance and provide and challenge against budget and forecasts.;
• Support in developing the group's financial strategy;
• Support the budgeting & forecasting processes;
• Liaise with key stakeholders;
• Proactively contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the organisation's financial processes & controls.

The Person:

The successful Group Financial Controller will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA;
• 2+ years practical accounting/industry experience;
• Strong communication skills;
• Strong IT skills.
