The Role
They are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Legal Analyst to focus on commercial contracts. In this role, you will assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing various contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards and client needs. This position provides an opportunity to work on significant projects and gain expertise in commercial law within a high-performing team.
The Responsibilities
Drafting and Reviewing: Prepare, review, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, supply contracts, and NDAs.
Compliance Analysis: Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate legal risks in contractual terms, proposing mitigative solutions where necessary.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor contracts accordingly.
Database Management: Maintain and manage contract databases, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Team Support: Assist senior lawyers with research, case preparation, and the resolution of contractual disputes.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of standard templates and streamlined processes for contract management.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent
Experience: Some experience working with commercial contracts, ideally within a law firm or corporate legal department.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law, commercial agreements, and legal terminology.
