IT Technical Lead

MCS Group is working with a household name in retail banking here in Northern Ireland to help them find an IT Technical Lead to join their IT and Cyber Security Team. This role will be critical to their plans as they implement a move to the cloud, maintain a hardened IT estate to protect their IT assets and customers' information and will allow you to work within a supportive, and business-critical team that will invest in your career progression.

The role

• You will support their BAU operations and use your IT troubleshooting experience to resolve issues both on-site and remotely across both hardware and software
• You will work across various IT technologies, including their migration to AWS.
• You will proactively ensure their IT estates are hardened against intrusions, and ultimately ensure their continued accreditations across Information Security, in particular ISO27001
• You will look to improve their processes and seek efficiencies across their IT applications and Hardware where you see fit

Needed to succeed

• A proven, senior point of escalation in IT troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Informatics Security frameworks, ideally ISO 27001
• Cloud experience, ideally certified or with a proven ability on AWS
