Job Description
MCS Group is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer (Desk-side) for a 6 month contract with a global Legal Services firm in Belfast. This IT Support Engineer (Desk-side) will ensure customers have a great user experience, and have their support and ticket requirements resolved in a timely, and efficient manner. You will work on-site in the office, providing desk-side support for technical issues across hardware and equipment set ups.
The Role:
You will provide technical support for laptops, mobiles, desktops and AV Equipment.
You will provide technical support to internal customers, assisting them by phone, email, and face-to-face.
You will be the visual face of IT and provide excellent service to your customers across the organisation.
As IT Support Engineer, you will communicate with stakeholders across the business at all levels of seniority.
You will provide both on-site and remote hardware support for the Belfast site.
The Person
Previous experience in a similar Desk-side / hardware support role is essential.
You will have demonstrable experience of working in an IT Customer Services role.
Ideally, you will have hands on experience with AV / Video Conferencing equipment.
Previous experience with Apple products / iMacs is desirable.
You will thrive on providing great customer service, with proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.
This is an on-site position, with 5 days per week on site in the Belfast City Centre office.
Salary: £27,000 p.a. (£13.85 per hour)
Duration: 6 month temporary contract.
