MCS Group is seeking ICT Project Managers to join their client, a thriving and well-established organisation with headquarters in Dublin.

With multiple projects in the pipeline, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a successful team in newly created positions.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the city centre offices and 2 days working remotely.

The Role

  • Lead, manage, and oversee the successful delivery of diverse ICT projects, collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and realization of benefits.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet predefined quality standards.
  • Take ownership of project lifecycle activities, including tracking, monitoring, controlling, and delivering outcomes from concept to production.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors/third parties for seamless project execution.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, engaging relevant stakeholders to confirm technical feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track and monitor progress effectively.
  • Regularly assess and report on project performance, including scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Ensure proper allocation and availability of resources.
  • Manage project budgets by comparing actual expenses against forecasts, with monthly reporting.
  • Provide weekly status updates, highlighting budget performance and addressing variances for project sponsors.
  • Set up governance structures at project initiation to ensure proper oversight.
  • Escalate issues and provide updates to senior management as required.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation in compliance with ICT PMO standardized procedures.
  • Implement change management processes to address adjustments in scope, schedule, or costs, ensuring appropriate verification.
  • Conduct risk assessments, documenting potential risks and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to dive into detailed tasks while summarizing key insights for senior leadership.



The Person (Essentials)

  • You'll have at least 10 years' experience in project management seeing projects through from planning to completion.
  • You'll have PM Certifications such as Prince 2/PMI
  • You'll have project managed with significant budgetary management requirements.
  • You'll have the right to work in Ireland (EU Citizen/Stamp 4 Visa)
  • Happy to work in a hybrid model with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote working per week.


Salary
Starting salary is €83,000 with a leading benefits package including pension and increased holidays.
