IT ERP Manager

MCS Group is currently working with one of the biggest manufacturing companies in their industry based in Portadown. This company is currently seeking to add an experienced IT ERP Manager to be responsible and accountable for ensuring the efficient operation of our computer systems, including defining and managing requirements, specifications, costs, and time lines.

The ideal candidate will possess enhanced skills, proven professional experience, and knowledge of industry best practices and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage all information technology and computer systems.
• Plan, organise, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage IT staff, while setting job expectations and evaluating their performance.
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
• Align with user needs and system functionality to support organisational goals.
• Audit systems and assess outcomes.
• Preserve assets, information security, and control structures.
• Handle the annual IT budget and ensure cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with corporate IT on any significant changes to infrastructure or policies.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience as an IT manager or in a relevant IT role
• Experience managing and supporting ERP Systems.
• Strong technical knowledge in management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in data center management and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and installation

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in people management, personal development, goal setting, and performance management
• Project management experience
• In-depth knowledge of key software environments
• Strong experience managing hardware and distributed/mobile devices
• IT strategy development expertise
• Solid commercial understanding of business processes
