HR Manager - County Longford - Manufacturing

The role:

Based in County Longford this is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional looking to take the next step in their career. As a key member of the HR team, you will lead the implementation of HR strategies across the organisation, oversee HR activities while supporting the wider HR team. You'll work on a variety of HR initiatives while partnering with managers to deliver people-centric solutions.

The main responsibilities:

• Implement Group HR strategies at the site level.
• Provide HR support on site and function-specific matters.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee induction processes.
• Advise managers and supervisors on HR issues and best practices.
• Lead the Talent Management program and Employee Engagement initiatives.
• Drive workforce planning and succession strategies in line with business needs.
• Oversee the management of employee forums and training programs.
• Enhance university connections to support a high-quality Graduate Program.
• Serve as a coach and mentor for site managers, helping them develop their teams.

The ideal candidate:

• A degree in HR or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• CIPD membership (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of employment law and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to travel occasionally to other sites.
