Are you a HR Manager looking for a new role where you can make a tangible, positive impact on your organisation and the wider community?
MCS Group are excited to be partnering with an NI based charitable organisation, currently recruiting for an HR Manager to join their senior management team.
The role
As HR Manager, you will oversee all HR functions, ensuring they align with standard procedures while fostering a positive workplace environment. Within this role, you will work closely with the CEO, senior management team, and stakeholders, having a creative input on the organisation's strategies. Responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance across all stages of the employee journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously refine HR policies and initiatives to ensure they align with overall business goals and long-term organisational development.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, onboarding, training programmes, and performance management, offering expert guidance on HR matters and addressing employee concerns.
- Work closely with managers to identify staffing needs, implement innovative recruitment approaches, and enhance team cohesion and professional growth.
- Organise and facilitate training sessions, nurturing a coaching culture to encourage career progression.
- Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary issues, performance concerns, and absence management, supporting managers in handling these effectively.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, health and safety legislation, and equality, diversity, and inclusion policies.
- Maintain personnel records, generate HR reports, and liaise with key stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in an HR Generalist role within a comparable sector.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
- Strong background in developing and implementing HR policies.
- Extensive experience in managing employee relations processes.
- Demonstrated ability to run end-to-end recruitment campaigns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
