HR Generalist - Dublin - 12 month fixed-term contract

MCS Group is delighted to partner with a growing organisation based in Dublin as they look to add an HR Generalist to their team on a fixed-term contract basis for 12 months.

This is an exciting time to join the organisation as they continue to grow and be industry leaders in their respective field.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a retail management background who has started their HR career and is looking to develop their HR skills.

The role:

You will provide dedicated site HR support to the site and its management team covering the full HR remit. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop through dedicated site experience as well as multi-site cross-function project work.

The successful candidate must have strong practical experience and knowledge of Irish Employment

The main responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver training sessions.
• Assist with employee queries on policies, payroll, and HR matters.
• Manage high-volume recruitment, including job adverts, interviews, and reference checks.
• Handle onboarding, offboarding, and liaise with payroll.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance.
• Support HR initiatives such as performance management and health and safety.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures, including note-taking and leading.
• Update employee records on HR systems.
• Assist with company audits and other relevant duties.

The ideal candidate:

• 2+ years' HR experience in an Irish organisation, including handling disciplinary processes.
• Background in retail management or people management is advantageous.
• Degree in HR or a related field is preferred.
• CIPD qualification is a plus.
• Own transport required for travel.
