HR Assistant
MCS Group is thrilled to be working in partnership with a large multi-national manufacturing organisation based in North Down who are wishing to add an HR Assistant on a full-time permanent basis.
The role:
The HR Assistant will be responsible for a variety of HR generalist tasks to support the delivery of a professional HR service across three NI sites.
The role will be responsible for providing HR support in the following areas: Recruitment & Selection, Inductions, Training & Development coordination, Employee Relations support, HR Systems. The role will report into the HR Business Partner.

The main duties and responsibilities:
- Support HR related queries, liaising with HR team as appropriate.
- Support recruitment activities from, liaising with recruitment agencies, coordinating interviews, preparing interview packs, representing the HR department on interview panels where appropriate.
- Act alongside the HR & payroll team, as a first point of contact for queries.
- Support the HR team and Monitoring Officer to complete Equality Commission monitoring requirements by collecting monitoring information for applicants.
- Support the HR team and Training and Development Co-Ordinator meeting audit standards by ensuring all personnel and training files are complete and up to date
- Maintenance and updating of HR-related systems.
- Collect and compile HR metrics and date from a variety of sources.
- Continuously seek to improve HR processes, across the group, through sharing ideas and assisting in improvement projects.
- Participate as a member of the HR team and in all HR activities, including group HR activities when required.

The successful candidate:
Essential:
- Degree educated in Human Resource Management or relevant discipline
-OR Level 3 CIPD qualified or working towards
-OR qualified by experience in a similar role
- Experience in a busy HR role
- Experience of HR practices
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and highly accurate.
- Ability to build strong interdepartmental relationships
