MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with one of Irelands top FMCG companies, to recruit a Health & Safety Business Partner to lead their site in Co. Cavan.

Reporting to the Group Head of Health and Safety, you will;

• Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health and promote a zero-harm culture.
• Ensure that all Group Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
• Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
• Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
• Engage all people on site to work together for the improvement of Health and Safety
• Ensure that all incidents are documented, investigated and any improvements implemented.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of Group Health & Safety procedures in the workplace.
• Liaise with HR to ensure that all employees undergo statutory health and safety training as a minimum as well as additional training where appropriate.
• Integrate the group programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits and checks.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Health & Safety professional with relevant practical experience, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
