Head of Finance - North Down

MCS Group are looking for a Head of Finance to join a growing SME wholesale business based in the North Down area.

The Company:

Our client is growing wholesale company based in the North Down area and are part of a wider group of companies. They provide a range of products for their customers across the UK & Ireland. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to recruit a Head of Finance for their well established finance team.

The Role:

As the successful Head of Finance you will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee the rest of finance team;
• Monthly reporting packs for site & group;
• Preparation of statutory accounts;
• Annual budgeting process;
• Cash flow management;
• Continuous improvement of financial controls/processes;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Head of Finance will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience;
• Strong commercial acumen;
• Strong IT skills;
• Strong communication skills.
