Financial Accountant - Longford

MCS Group are looking for a Financial Accountant to join a leading group of companies based in Longford.

Our client is a leading group of companies based in Longford and have multiple sites across ROI, NI and the UK. They provide a range of products and services to their vast customer base across Ireland and the UK. The Role:

As the successful Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of management accounts & reporting packs;
• Assist with budgeting & forecasting processes;
• Preparation of cash flow projections;
• Preparation of statutory accounts;
• VAT returns & corporate tax filings;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Financial Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA;
• Open to industry or practice experience;
• Strong IT skills;
• Strong communication skills.
