Job Description
MCS Group is proud to work with a highly innovative company based in Lisburn to recruit an Electronic Engineer for a 6-month FTC (with the view to going permanent).
As an Electronic engineer, you will work with a team of R&D engineers, working through projects and multi-tasking over various projects simultaneously.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out technical research and prospect new technology.
- Brainstorm new ideas and problem-solve within the team
- Electronic circuit specification and design
- Firmware/ Software and hardware specification/ design
- Familiar with spectrum analysers and oscilloscopes
- Experience with 32bit and 8bit micro-controllers
- Design process management and document creation
- Complete and document design control
- Liaise with the quality team regarding any risks with projects
- Technology evaluation and verification
- Proposal and report preparation (if applicable)
Essential Criteria
- Degree/ HNC/ HND in Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 1 years' experience gained in this field with embedded hardware and software design
- Knowledge of BLE Stack and protocol/ Wi-Fi protocol/ cellular modem connectivity to internet services/ ethernet protocol
- A high level of technical knowledge and IT skills
