Data Engineer - IoT

My client is an impressive technology firm based in Belfast and London. This role would be based in the Belfast office working with a team on developing a world class, new and upcoming Centre of emerging technologies. You will work with a diverse portfolio of companies, using their technical expertise to help these organisations drive national and international growth for the UK businesses across the economy.

The Role

In this role you will help set the strategic course the data service capabilities, and technical requirements of new and emerging technologies.

Developing and delivering a range of data services, such as data access, ingestion and management cross-platform for their digital twin services! You will have ownership over your work and the opportunity to make an impact in their Belfast footprint. You will actively participate in innovation initiatives to advance Digital Twin technology.

Ideal Candidate

My client is open on levels of experience for this role but ideally someone well versed in Data Engineering and IoT.

Experience analysing diverse data types and sources through data science methods. Integrating and preparing data, applying advanced analytics, and developing predictive models to drive insightful decision-making.

Data science: Experience assessing machine learning models for performance and bias, ensuring robustness, and managing model lifecycle from design to deployment

Machine learning: Expertise in machine learning and AI involves leveraging numerical analysis to develop, analyse, and implement algorithms, addressing complex mathematical problems.

Experience in IOT or digital twin would be highly advantageous!
