Company Accountant - Belfast

MCS Group are looking for a Company Accountant to join a leading retail company based in Belfast.

The Company:

Our client is a leading retail company based in Belfast and have multiple offices and sites across NI & ROI. They supply a range of products to their extensive customer base across NI & ROI. Now is a great time to be joining the company as they look to add a Company Accountant role to their finance function.

The Role:

As the successful Company Accountant you will report directly to the Managing Director and Operations Director and will be responsible for the following:

• Oversight for rest of finance function;
• Preparation of monthly management accounts;
• Year-end audit process;
• VAT returns & statutory returns (NI/ROI);
• Oversight for transactional finance;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Company Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified or Qualified by Experience;
• Open to industry or practice background;
• Strong management accounts experience;
• Strong communication skills.
