Our Client, one of the most sought-after employers in Northern Ireland are recruiting for an experienced Buyer to join their team based in Greater Belfast area.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Buyer is responsible to support the Planning & Supply Chain department in achieving business objectives, and to deliver best in class supply chain management, with a focus on providing procurement delivery for the business.

Main Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for on time placing of correct orders, supplier performance, make cost-effective purchases and ensure inventory is maintained at the required level.
  • Accountable for on-time updating and maintaining procurement data and record accurately in the ERP system regarding the suppliers, prices, supplier standard lead-time and order details.
  • Responsible in tracking order status, manage supplier delivery priorities and ensure timely delivery.
  • Follow up with suppliers on any quality, invoice or price enquiries.
  • Responsible in maintaining strong working relationships with external supplier and internal cross functional teams.
